The past few weeks have been quite eventful for the thriving smartwatch market, with new releases from Apple, Garmin, Asus, Michael Kors, Puma, Emporio Armani, Diesel, Huawei, and Movado following Samsung, Misfit, Casio, and Fitbit’s own announcements last month.

Obviously, it’s not easy to stand out from such a crowd, but Michael Kors is currently employing the oldest trick in the book to secure its latest collection of stylish Wear OS devices some badly needed visibility. We’re talking substantial price cuts of 25 percent across the board, which is not something you usually get so soon after the commercial debut of such eye-catching products with robust features and capabilities.

The Access MKGO is billed as the brand’s “lightest smartwatch to date”, although curiously enough, the exact weight of the intelligent timepiece available in pink, black, red, and gold tones with silicone bands and a combination of aluminum and nylon build materials is unspecified. 

Naturally, the costlier and bulkier Michael Kors Access Lexington 2 and Bradshaw 2 are also more robust, stylish, and feature-packed, with full stainless steel bodies and a built-in speaker that the MKGO lacks. You get some extra storage and memory as well at a higher price point, which propels these two among the most advanced Wear OS smartwatches in the market alongside a Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor that the MKGO also packs.

It’s worth highlighting that older members of the Michael Kors Access family are even cheaper right now after heftier discounts, but despite some undeniably premium designs and eye-catching colors, those are no longer very desirable due to their outdated internals.
